68 new COVID cases recorded in the country

68 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported by the Ministry for Health since last Thursday.

The Health Ministry says that out of the 68 cases, 43 cases were recorded in the Central Division, 21 cases in the Western Division, and 4 cases in the Northern Division.

They say the vaccination of Fiji’s target population has been progressing well.

As of yesterday, 169,174 people have received their 1st booster shot, while 28,069 have received their 2nd booster.
