$620,000 spent on upgrading Labasa Airport infrastructure to facilitate night landing and take‑off from end of July

Fiji Airports has confirmed $620,000 has been spent on upgrading the infrastructure in and around Labasa Airport to facilitate night landing and take‑off from end of July.

Fiji Airports Communications and Relations Manager Christopher Chand says infrastructure works were completed before the end of last year.

Aeronautical charts have been published through Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji to allow for the night landing and departure.

Fiji Airports are still awaiting airline schedule of flights
