A 6.1 magnitude earthquake has occurred in the south of Fiji at 9:38 last night.
The Mineral Resources Department’s Seismology Unit says the location of the earthquake was 640 kilometers South South West from Doi village in Ono I Lau.
They say based from their available data, there is no tsunami threat from the earthquake.
