6 people charged with murder appears in Court

Six people charged with murder appeared in the High Court yesterday afternoon.

Two locals and four Asian nationals were allegedly involved in the stabbing of a businessman at Victoria Parade in April.

Yang Xiu Qi, Hu Jian Zhan, Bill Hao, Liu Chuan Wei, Veng Seong Tam and Dai Jian appeared before Justice Salesi Temo.

Yang Xiu Qi has been granted bail due to medical reasons while the other five have been remanded in custody.

The case is adjourned to the 8th of February next year.
