Commuters traveling between Suva and Lautoka will now have the luxury to travel in a $300,000 bus which has been brought by Pacific Transport Company Limited.
The company purchased six buses worth more than $1.8 million.
The twelve meter air-conditioned coach is powered by a rear mounted inter cooler turbo, which generates maximum power of 350 horse power.
Company Secretary, Sunil Maharaj said the decision by the government to reduce fiscal and import excise duty on buses has made them possible to import the buses.
