53 teams from 17 schools set to battle it out at the Secondary Schools Basketball Championship this weekend

A total of 53 teams from 17 schools around Fiji are ready to battle it out in the 2023 Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball Championships which will begin this Thursday at the Lautoka Multipurpose Courts.

The tournament will be played in three grades (U15, U17 and U19) in the girls' and boys’ division with over 100 games in a span of 3 days.

Students will also try and showcase their talents on the court and impress the national selectors as the Pacific Games 2023 in Honiara edges closer.

Teams like Marist Brothers High School, Yat Sen Secondary School, Gospel High School and International Secondary School to name a few are some of the top teams that are expected to grace the court this week.

The Fiji Secondary School Basketball Championship will be held from Thursday till Saturday.
