4,398 FNPF members assisted under Tropical Cyclone Yasa relief

The Fiji National Provident Fund has paid $6.1 million to 4,398 members under the Tropical Cyclone Yasa relief so far.

FNPF received 5,025 applications and the last few applications are being processed which will be paid tomorrow.

Acting Chief Operating Officer, Pravinesh Singh says some members had missed out on the inspection but this has been addressed and they will complete the processing of the remaining applications this week.

The scheme closed last Saturday however members who still need to repair or rebuild their homes can enquire about the Fund’s housing withdrawal.
