A total of 40 teams will compete in this year's Gokals, Ariston and Whirlpool Southern Business House Futsal Soccer League.
The tournament which kicks off on 7th April will be played over 13 weeks.
Gokals Sales and Marketing Manager Ifraaz Ali says they have maintained the women’s and veterans competition again this year.
Both the veterans amd women's categories will feature 4 teams each.
Ali says this year their theme is “scoring health points and match goal, women doing it all” as they believe in giving women equal playing field to compete along men.
He adds this is aimed at eliminating violence against women and getting teams to compete on a weekly basis to eliminate non communicable diseases.
Gokals has given $10,000 for the tournament while the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation has given $2,000 sponsorship for the womens category.
