Construction work on a $4 million worth mall at Jaduram street in Labasa is expected to be completed by next month.
The owner, Bashir Khan who is a businessman in Labasa says this mall is not only the first in the Northern Division to have an escalator but also the first in Fiji to have a sensor escalator.
Khan says this is one of the biggest developments in Labasa.
Khan adds this mall would be a modern style building and will surely encourage more investors to invest in the Northern Division.
The mall will have 36 shops.
About one hundred jobs will be created after the construction of this mall.
