A 39-year old man of Namoli, Nadi has been arrested following the discovery of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine in his home.
A joint raid conducted by the Western Division Taskforce and the Fiji Detector Dog Unit this afternoon, resulted in the arrest.
Chief Operations Officer ACP Abdul Khan says the team conducted the raid after gathering information regarding the suspect’s alleged involvement in the illicit drug trade.
He adds they will continue to ask for public support and all information provided will be pursued.
The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue.
