33-year-old man’s death yet to be classified - Police

The case of the 33-year-old man who died after he was allegedly assaulted on Sunday morningin Suva is yet to be classified.

Police say it will be classified after the post-mortem has been conducted.

The alleged incident was reported by medical authorities after the victim was taken to the CWM Hospital after 1am Sunday and was admitted in critical condition until he passed away on Sunday afternoon.

Police add a post-mortem will be conducted to ascertain the victim’s cause of death as investigations continue.
