3,000 students have so far been assisted with stationery by the Foundation for Rural Integrated Enterprises and Development or FRIEND Fiji.
Founder and CEO Sashi Kiran says they have received a further 2,000 application for help after Tropical Cyclone Ana.
Kiran says initially they had not assisted in Tavua and Rakiraki, however they have been receiving requests from these areas and areas that were affected by flood waters.
She adds that they are seeking assistance from TISI Sangam to help them coordinate stationery needs for students to return to school.
FRIEND Fiji has also been assisting people that have been affected by COVID-19.
