Three men will appear in the Suva Magistrates Court today, facing multiple charges in connection with an aggravated robbery that took place at the Lalita Bhindi sub-division in Vatuwaqa last month.
Police say the three allegedly stole a vehicle and used it in a robbery in Vtauwaqa, where they stole a safe and assorted electronic goods belonging to a businessman.
They say since the incident was reported, the Southern Division and Samabula task forces have been following several leads leading up to the arrest of the three alleged suspects from Raiwaqa this week.
The three aged 36, 37 and 40 years have all been charged with one count each of criminal trespass, aiding and abetting theft of motor vehicle, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, aiding and abetting aggravated burglary, aiding and abetting aggravated robbery and one count of serious assault.
