Three people are admitted at the CWM Hospital following a serious accident along the Queen Elizabeth Drive.
Director Traffic Senior Superintendent of Police Mitieli Divuana says the accident occurred along the Queen Elizabeth Drive at around 8pm where the suspect was allegedly driving at a high speed when he lost control of the car near the Muanikau Community Post, causing it to veer off the road, landing upside down on the footpath.
SSP Divuana says the driver and two passengers were rushed to the CWM Hospital where they remain admitted.
He says as a result of the accident, another vehicle also sustained damage, however the occupants of the car escaped serious injuries.
The Director Traffic says unless drivers adopt a change of mindset, road safety awareness and advisories will continue to fall on deaf ears and add to more accidents being recorded on a daily basis.
