3 gold medals for Lomary Secondary School in girls 1,500 metres

Lomary Secondary School has won three gold medals following the girls 1,500 metres finals on the first day of the Suva Zone II at Suva Grammar School ground today.

In the Junior Girls 1,500 metres, Makereta Adi of Lomary Secondary School finished first.

Maria Ranadi of Lomary Secondary School got gold in the Intermediate Girls 1,500 metres.

Amele Likuwaqa of Lomary Secondary also won gold in the Senior Girls 1,500 metres.

Suva Grammar School who is the defending champion of the girls division at Suva Zone II got one gold through Fane Fifita in the Sub-Junior Girls 1,500 metres.

The only event that was held today was the girls 1,500 metres events.

The 3,000 metres open for both girls and boys will be held on Thursday and the rest of the events will be held at the ANZ Stadium on Friday.
