Delana is also charged with allegedly stealing the victim’s bag worth $50

Two farmers from Waitolu Village, Naitasiri and an unemployed man from Kinoya who allegedly murdered a 45 year old security officer in Nausori Town have been remanded in custody by Nausori Magistrate Supreena Naidu.

Emori Naqova, Semiti Vakatukai and Vilikesa Delana allegedly murdered Lorima Bativoli on the 22nd of this month.

They are charged with a count of murder.

Police prosecutor, Shelveen Sharma had objected to bail.

Delana is also charged with theft and serious assault. He is alleged to have stolen Bativoli’s bag worth $50 and resisted arrest.

The matter has been transferred to the Suva High Court which will be called on the 21st of this month.
