28-year-old farmer from Kadavu in Police custody following death of partner

A 28-year-old farmer from Kadavu is in Police custody following the death of his 23 year old partner on Friday afternoon.

Police say the suspect who was intoxicated allegedly assaulted his pregnant partner at a house in Nasese.

The woman was rushed to the CWM Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

The post mortem will be conducted today.
