27 students who have graduated from Navuso Agriculture Technical Institute can now utilize their new farming skills in their agriculture business and assist their family.
Minister for Agriculture and Waterways Vatimi Rayalu says the Ministry will continue to work with Institute to train young farmers and to ensure that enough skilled farmers are available locally to sustain agriculture production.
Rayalu urged the graduates to not only look at themselves as farmers but as leaders contributing effectively to society and the economy as a whole.
He informed them to visit any Ministry of Agriculture office and seize the opportunities and services available to the general public to expand and grow farming businesses.
He adds graduates will go back and implement their knowledge on their farms.
