25-year-old charged with dangerous driving and causing death

A 25-year-old driver alleged to have caused the death of an 8-year-old following an accident in Delailabasa last week was produced at the Labasa Magistrates Court.

The accused has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death and was bailed for $1,000.

The accused’s next court hearing will be held on the 6th of February 2023.
