37 people were served with Public Health Infringement Notices for various health breaches in the last 24 hours.

25 of the notices were served for failure to wear a mask.

Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu says those who have been served notices for failure to wear a mask either had a mask in their possession and were not wearing it or failed to wear it in the proper manner.

Tudravu says the Southern Division recorded 16 cases, 8 cases were recorded in the Central Division while there was one case in the West.

He says 11 notices were issued for social gathering while there was also a case of breach of curfew.
