Fiji has recorded 228 new COVID-19 cases since Tuesday as the Permanent Secretary for Health, Dr James Fong, says they continue to see an increasing trend in COVID cases in the community.
Of the 228 cases, 108 were recorded on Tuesday, 69 cases on Wednesday and 51 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours ending at 8am yesterday.
74 cases were reported in the Central Division, 122 cases in the Western Division and 32 cases in the Northern Division.
