22 member extended squad announced for Youth Commonwealth Games

Fiji Under 18 rugby sevens Co-Manager Paula Biu

The Fiji Under 18 rugby sevens Co-Manager Paula Biu has announced the names of the 22 member extended squad for the Youth Commonwealth Games in Samoa in September.

Biu says that these players were selected from the two open trials that were held last two weeks in Nadi and in Suva.

He adds that the selection was also made at the two tournaments that was attended by the Fiji Rugby Union officials which were the U20 competition at the Fiji Bitter Gaunavou 7s tournament in Savusavu and Process Age group 10`s tournament.

Only one player, Penaia Narisia has been selected from the Vodafone Fiji U20 team currently at the Junior World Trophy in Portugal.

All the named players have been urged to submit their Passport,

Original Birth Certificates, 2 passport size photo or contact Paula Biu on 9775943 for any further queries.

The squad includes: Aisea Cagiverata of RKS, Alekisi Caginitoba of Nasinu Secondary School, Alivereti Veimosi, Apisalome Nabalewa of Ratu Navula College, Baiogo Larua of QVS, Carl Lagonibau of Natabua High School, Kinijoji Tulagi of QVS, Mesulame Navakayala of Vueti Cakau Club, Mikaele Ravalawa of Yamacia Black, Mikaele Yasiyasi of Ratu Navula, Mitieli Tokalau of Lomary Secondary School, Nepote Buroso, Orenthal Vukinagauna, Penaia Nasiria of Canberra, Peni Ravula of Vueti Cakau Club, Pita Tumura of Suva Grammar School, Saula Tunidau of Ra High School, Sefanaia Volau of Ratu Navula, Sosiceni Masiwaka of QVS, Temo Sukayawa of Suva Grammar, Timoci Tavatavawaiwai of QVS and Vatu Vaubula of QVS.
