206 nurses and 62 doctors are expected to graduate from FNU this year after finishing their final year of studies.
Acting Dean of College of Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences, Dr William May says they are looking at getting 90 new MBBS students for next year which is inclusive of other nations from the region.
Dr May says they are also looking at 150 new students inclusive of other nations from the region for the B Nursing program and adds if all the places get filled they are looking at more than 800 new students.
He says due to the quota system the intake numbers are fixed however they take in extra five students due to forecasted decline of offer, change of programme which is due to sponsorship, withdrawals and deferral of study.
