2023 Coca-Cola Games : Action packed 400 metres finals

Jasper Williams High School’s Melania Turaga proved too strong in the senior girls 400 metres final as she took out gold a while ago.

Neomai Volau of Dreketi Central College won silver while Sarah Korosavu settled for bronze.

In the senior boys 400 metres final, Ratu Tuili Mataika of Ratu Kadavulevu School showed sheer determination to scoop gold while Turuva Setoki of Natabua High won silver and Peni Bula of Natabua won bronze.

In the intermediate girls division, Frances Tuva of ACS proved too strong to scoop gold while MGM High’s Losalini Raikadroka and Torika Radovu settled for silver and bronze respectively.

Suva Grammar School’s Vilivo Whippy won gold, Senirusi Rauqe of QVS won silver and Esava Tabua of Natabua High settled for bronze in the intermediate boys.

In the junior girls 400 metres, Adi Lutumailagi of Natabua won gold, Nanise Saurara of ACS won silver while Liviana Vulavou of Jasper settled for bronze.

Aisea Tuiloma of Cuvu College took out gold in the junior boys 400 metres while Queen Victoria School’s Josua Koroi and Manasa Levatabua won silver and bronze respectively.

Grammar’s Hephzipah Tuimanono bagged the gold medal in the sub-junior girls 400 metres final after a dominant performance this afternoon.

Pasemaca Bukalidi of Adi Cakobau School settled for silver while Elenoa Kafoa Savou of Vunisea Secondary School won bronze.

In the sub-junior boys divison, it was a tussle between Eneri Nadule of Marist and Ratu Aisea Kubunakaravi of Grammar as Nadule pipped Kubunakaravi at the finish line to win gold while Kalaveti Drauna of Marist settled for bronze.
