2019 leadership program was launched last night

The 2019 Leadership Fiji Program was launched last night.

While speaking at the launch, chief guest Suva lawyer Filimoni Vosarogo says the programs potential as a breeding ground of national leadership is now inevitable.

Vosaroqo is an alumni of the first Leadership Fiji Program from 2002.

There are 30 participants in the Leadership Fiji Program this year.


2017 Fellows

Leadership Fiji has also inducted 30 participants from 2017 as fellows.

Director of Leadership Fiji Board William Parkinson says this is the 18th year of the Leadership Fiji Program, bringing the total number of alumni to 412.

Parkinson says the program is about active leadership with a strong focus on putting the lessons into action in the community.

He says many alumni of the program are serving on various boards and non profit organisations.

He says this year Leadership Fiji has also launched its school prefects program which will provide schools with a short leadership program when they induct prefects.
