The 2019 Fiji Day Celebrations will be held throughout the country with the main celebration being held at Albert Park in Suva.
President, Jioji Konrote will be the Chief Guest at Albert Park where the program will begin at 9am on Thursday.
The Permanent Secretary of Defence, Manasa Lesuma says in the Western Division they will be organising activities in the senior citizens' homes and orphanage in Nadi, Lautoka and Ba.
The other celebrations will be held at Nasau Park in Levuka and Subrail Park in Labasa.
Lesuma says the budget for this year's Fiji Day celebrations is $250,000.
He says despite the current weather conditions, the Fiji Day celebrations will go ahead as planned.
Lesuma says it will be a fun-filled family event with the theme of this year's celebration as "A Progressive and Sustainable Fiji for All".
Meanwhile, the RFMF Chief Staff Officer Operations, Lepani Damuni says there will be about 400 personnel from Fiji's Disciplinary Forces who will take part in the March Pass during the celebrations.
