200 vehicles donated by China to be handed out to ministries this week

A total of 200 vehicles donated by the Chinese government will be handed out to the relevant ministries later this week.

This has been confirmed by Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister Yogesh Karan.

These vehicles include 30 ambulances for the Ministry of Health.

Karan says they needed time to get the vehicles ready to be disbursed.

Karan says the 200 vehicles include 30 ambulances, 20 panel vans, 50 police vehicles, 50 school buses and 50 mini buses.

He says the panel vans will be used to cart equipment and cargo and they will be given to the ministries that need them.
