20% of population in squatter settlement
Twenty percent of Fiji's population live in squatter settlements.

These are the words of the Director for Peoples Community Network, Semiti Qalowasa who said that low salary, unaffordable ability of land, housing and high cost of living are some factors which have forced many people to live in squatter or informal settlements.
