Two people remain admitted in the CWM Hospital after sustaining serious injuries in the car accident along Princes Road in Tacirua on Sunday which claimed the lives of a mother and her 39 year old son.
The woman’s son was the driver.
He allegedly lost control of the car causing it to veer off the road and hit a house before tumbling down a cliff.
Police say the woman and the son died at the scene while the fourth passenger was medically examined at the Samabula Health Centre and sent home.
The national road death toll currently stands at 22 compared to 38 for the same period last year.
