Two men will appear in the Tavua Magistrates Court today for their alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery case last week.
They allegedly forcefully entered the home of an elderly woman on the last Friday and stole assorted items worth close to $2,000.
The two have both been charged with one count of aggravated burglary and one count of theft.
According to Police, investigators gathered information on the two’s whereabouts and a team was formed to conduct a raid at Nakavika, Ba where they were arrested and taken into custody.
A third suspect has also been charged for allegedly receiving the stolen goods.
This after investigators managed to gather the information that the two had allegedly sold the goods to a 29-year-old construction contractor in Lautoka for $300 and split the money.
Police Officers conducted a search at the alleged receiver's home and recovered the stolen items.
