A 26 and a 29-year-old man of Mead Road Housing, Nabua, were arrested yesterday for unlawful possession of illicit drugs and resisting arrest.
The Southern Division Police team conducted a raid where the two had thrown a bag towards the nearby bushes.
The Police team found a black sling bag that had 3 zip-lock bags containing white crystal substances believed to be methamphetamine and assorted cash in $50, $20, $10, and $5 Fijian currency totaling to $5,560.
They say the cash is believed to be proceeds of crime from the sale of illicit drugs.
