Two people appeared in the Nausori Magistrates Court today charged in relation to the death of a 33-year-old man in Vuci Road, Nausori, over the weekend.
24-year-old Shavneel Narayan is charged with the act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and 25-year-old Yogesh Ram is charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
The police prosecution has also asked for Narayan’s psychiatric report and he will appear in court again on the 19th of next month.
Ram has been released on $500 bail and has been ordered to report to the Nausori Police Station every Saturday.
