About 1,938 students and 207 teachers have been provided psycho-social support after TC Yasa in the Northern Division.
While providing an update in Parliament, Minister for Education Rosy Akbar says the program was conducted in 22 schools in the Northern Division.
Akbar says while families tried to put their lives back together, they focused on the traumatic impact on children which might have gone unnoticed.
She says they also engaged the National Substance Abuse Advisory Council, Medical Services Pacific, Empower Pacific, Fiji Corrections Service and the recently graduated school counselors.
Akbar also says counseling will need to continue.
