190 students from the Fiji National University’s College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and the University’s National Training and Productive Centre received their graduate certificates today at the FMF National Gymnasium.
While speaking to the graduates, FNU’s Vice Chancellor Professor Nigel Healey highlighted that through their internal surveys up to 80% to 90% of Fiji National University graduates secure paid employment after the first four months.
Healey also revealed that Fiji National University certificates are globally recognized because of the way their programs are designed to fit into the Fiji Qualification framework.
He also reminded the graduates that today is the climax of several years’ of hard work and achievement in which they should take pride in adding that today also reflects the support and encouragement which they have received from their families and loved one’s.
Healey says the academic attire in which they are dressed in is the reward for their hard work, dedication, ambition, commitment and the sacrifice that they have undertook.
Healy says that from the 190 graduates 54 are from the College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry while 136 graduates are from the National Training and Productive Centre.
