17-year-old Shreha Shalin Singh, the reigning Miss Teen India 2024, is set to represent Fiji to the Miss Teen of the Universe 2024 from the 1st to the 6th of next month in South Africa.

Singh is currently a Year 12 student at Rishikul Sanatan College and has previously earned titles such as Miss Teen India Fiji 2023, Miss Teen Catwalk, and Miss Teen Talented.

In an interview with fijiVillage News, Shreha expresses her pride and gratitude for the opportunity to once again represent Fiji on the global stage.

She says she is actively preparing for the Miss Teen of the Universe competition by working on her talent performance and national attire and refining her walk-in heels.

When asked about the most memorable aspect of her pageant journey, Singh says she values the chance to bond with confident ladies from around the world and the empowering atmosphere of these sessions.

Singh says balancing her studies and pageant responsibilities is challenging, but she manages by prioritizing her tasks.

She is advising young girls who want to join pageants to stay confident, stand firm against negativity and step out of their comfort zones.

Pageant National Director Shaheen Khan supports Singh's selection, noting her energetic and confident demeanour.

Khan says her preparation has been thorough, and she has high hopes for her.

He says she is confident that Singh will represent Fiji excellently, and will always be considered a winner regardless of the competition's outcome.

Khan encourages young women to be authentic and confident and to focus on their true selves rather than physical attributes.
