17 homes in Lavidi village in Kadavu destroyed during TC Keni

17 homes in Lavidi village in Kadavu were destroyed during Tropical Cyclone Keni.

Lavidi villager Timoci Ganikeli says that the 17 families that lost their homes are now sheltering in the village hall.

Ganikeli says that their crops were also destroyed.

Meanwhile, Tavuki Village headman Ratu Nailito Raikabula says that 13 homes were partially damaged in the cyclone.

Raikabula says that around 60 villagers are sheltering in their village hall and the old Kadavu District Hall in Tavuki.

Other areas also suffered damages in Kadavu.
