16-year-old helps her parents by selling bean at MSME Festive ROC Market

16-year-old Kriteshni Lal has been helping her parents during the school break by selling bean at the MSME Festive ROC Market in Suva.

Lal says her family owns a bean cart in Nausori Town and she always assists her parents after school.

The Bhawani Dayal Arya College student says she understands the struggles her parents face and believes that helping out during the school break is one way to ease their burden.

As Christmas approaches, the 16-year-old says they are expecting to earn more.

She adds they will be celebrating Christmas at their home in Koronivia by making lovo.
