150 desks and chairs have been delivered to Penang Sangam High School today in an effort to ensure students affected by the recent school fire resume classes from tomorrow.
Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary, Dr. Brij Lal said the 180 Form 4 students will be having classes in the school hall which has been subdivided into 6 classrooms.
Meanwhile, National Fire Authority is still working on establishing the actual cause.
A total of 8 classrooms were fully destroyed.
Four of these were form 4 classrooms while the others were music and other subject related classrooms.
