Fifteen consequential bills have been passed in parliament.

Parliaments spent more than 2 hours debating the bills.

27 parliamentarians voted in favour of the motion while 23 voted against it.

One parliamentarian did not vote.

The following bills were enacted by parliament this afternoon;

1. Bill No. 8 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Tax Administration Act 2009

2. Bill No. 9 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Income Tax Act 2015

3. Bill No. 10 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Value Added Tax Act 1991

4. Bill No. 11 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Environment and Climate Adaptation Levy Act 2015

5. Bill No. 12 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Stamp Duties Act 1920

7. Bill No. 14 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Customs Act 1986

9. Bill No. 16 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Financial Management Act 2004

10. Bill No. 17 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Tertiary Scholarship and Loans Act 2014

11. Bill No. 18 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission Act 2010

12. Bill No. 19 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Environment Management Act 2005

13. Bill No. 20 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to amend the Climate Action Trust Fund Act 2017

14. Bill No. 21 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to establish a Trust Fund for the Planned Relocation of Communities in Fiji that are adversely affected by climate change

15. Bill No. 22 of 2019 – A Bill for an Act to repeal the Small and Micro Enterprises Development Act 2002 and for related matters
