146 new cases of dengue fever

The Ministry of Health has confirmed 146 new cases of dengue fever.

97 new cases have been recorded since Friday .

There have been 1,309 confirmed cases so far this year.

The Health Ministry confirms there is an outbreak in the Western Division with 29 new cases last week.

The Ministry of Health is urging Fijians to get rid of potential mosquitoes breeding places such as empty containers inside and outside your homes that may collect water, including discarded tires, flower vases, and pot plant bases.
