A United Nations Representative has revealed today that 1.4% of UN staff globally live with HIV.
During his address at Pacific Theological College in Nasese this morning Knut Ostby highlighted that this stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV still persists at some UN workplaces.
He added the UN personal policy on HIV/ Aids provides that we must all be aware of HIV and that nobody in the UN family experiences any difficulty in accessing treatment, care and support services.
