Fourteen of the players in the Brumbies matchday squad for the clash against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in the Super Rugby Pacific tomorrow have either played for the Wallabies or have been in the Wallabies selection camp.
One of them is 100 test veteran James Slipper.
Others include Wallabies flyhalf Noah Lolesio, prop Alan Alaalatoa, flanker Rob Valetini, number 8 Pete Samu, fullback Tom Banks, veteran prop Scott Sio and winger Tom Wright.
Star scrumhalf Nic White is on the bench.
Hooker Lachlan Lonergan, lock Darcy Swain, wing Andy Muirhead, inside centre Irae Simone and outside centre Len Ikitau are the new breed of Wallabies players also playing tomorrow.
The Brumbies last won a Super Rugby competition in 2004.
They last played in a Super Rugby final in 2014 and reached the semifinals in 2019.
The Drua will meet the Brumbies at 3.35pm tomorrow.
In other Super Rugby Pacific matches, the Crusaders will face the Highlanders at 6.05 tonight, the Waratahs will face the Reds at 8.45 tonight, the Blues will take on the Hurricanes at 6.05pm tomorrow while the Rebels will face the Force at 8.45pm tomorrow.
