A 13-year-old student has died following a horrific road accident in Cunningham yesterday afternoon.
Police say the boy is alleged to have tried to jump onto a bus when he failed to grip the railings, fell under the moving bus, resulting in the accident.
He was rushed to the Nuffield Health Centre in Tamavua but was pronounced dead.
Police say the bus driver will be questioned soon.
The road death toll currently stands at 21 compared to 42 for the same period last year.
