There are a total of 124 underprivileged children that are currently under state care in residential homes.
This is according to the Minister for Social Welfare, Women and Poverty Alleviation Dr Jiko Luveni while revealing how there will be a regular monitoring of all the Homes to ensure that they adhere to Standard Operating Procedure including the protection of these children.
