118 grocery and essential item packs were distributed today and yesterday by the government to people in home isolation.
There were 68 deliveries yesterday and 50 today.
They also delivered packs to the new families that have gone into home isolation.
30 packs were taken to the staff of the Fiji Police Force and 28 packs were given to the staff of the Health Ministry's Incident Management Team who live in Suva, Nasinu and Nausori.
According to the government, to date they have distributed a total of 36,410 food ration, grocery and essential item packs.
The Ministry of Economy in consultation with the Ministry of Communications is also strengthening the database by allowing for the electronic registration of household information and their needs.
Since Friday, the Ministry of Economy's Data Entry team has been recording details of families in lockdown areas and those going into home isolation.
