104,763 traffic infringement notices issued last year while 78 died in road accidents

The Fiji Police Force will continue to push for road safety this year as 78 people lost their lives in road accidents last year while 104,763 traffic infringement notices were issued.

44 people lost their lives in 2022.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations ACP Livai Driu says 3, 735 people were arrested for traffic offences and 221 serious accident were recorded.

ACP Driu says the Fiji Police Force will continue to be out the roads everyday for everyone's safety.
