Kolinio Radrudru, Joeli Bolakoro and Josaia Bosoka of RKS, Nemani Mudrelagi of Natabua and Marist’s Viliame Rekitilako are some of the favourites for the Senior Boys 100 metres final tomorrow.
Mudrelagi ran the fastest time with 11.07 seconds while Kolinio Radrudru recorded the second fastest time of 11.12 seconds in the heats.
Looking at the Senior Girls 100 metres race, Braelynn Yee of Saint Joseph’s, Fane Sauvakacolo of Suva Grammar, Salote Baravilala of Jasper and Serenia Ragatu of ACS are the favourites for the event.
Baravilala recorded the fastest time of 12.66 seconds while Yee and Sauvakacolo recorded the second fastest time of 12.75 seconds.
In the Intermediate Boys 100 metres, Marist’s Lasarusa Senibale, Benjamin Dickson and Taniela Turaganikeli of Suva Grammar and Tevita Sokiveta from RKS are the some of the athletes to watch out for.
Looking at the Intermediate Girls 100 metres, ACS will have Marica Korovulavula, Amele Navabale and Naomi Sigaruarua trying to win gold while they will face tough competition from Unaisi Tagabale of Jasper.
Mesulame Tuigau of RKS will be the favourite in the Junior Boys 100 metres after clocking the fastest time of 11.83 seconds in the heat.
Alipate Vuiwakaya of Natabua, Netani Sakealevu of Suva Grammar, Tomasi Seru of QVS and Orisi Seduadua of Lelean are the other top athletes to watch out for.
Tokasa Gukirewa of Saint Joseph’s is the favourite in the Junior Girls 100 metres with a time of 13.02 seconds. Sereana Vulaono of LDS Maraia Bulidromodromo of Suva Grammar are also in contention.
