More than 1000 plants believed to be marijuana have been uprooted from an unknown farm in Nacomoto, Kadavu over the weekend.
The raid conducted by the Police Drug Operations Team seized plants ranging from 0.15 centimetres to 1.10 metres.
A similar operation was conducted at Natumua Village in Kadavu which led to the arrest of a 25 year old farmer.
He was found in possession of some loose dried leaves and Police also uprooted plants believed to be marijuana from his farm.
In Rakiraki, Police uprooted more than 200 green plants believed to be marijuana from a farm in Nabalabala in Ra following information received from the public.
The plants are ranging from 30 centimetres to 2.8 metres.
The owners of the two farms are yet to be identified as investigations continue.
