Women today continue to rise up in the ranks of the workforce - Dr Nur Bano

Women today continue to rise up in the ranks of the work force, and this is a commendable achievement. 

This was highlighted by Women in Business President Dr. Nur Bano Ali at the Women in Business application Drive at Suvavou House.

She says that this is the first time that Women in Business has shifted their focus to the women in the public sector.

Ali says that the Women in Business awards 2017 has gained a lot of momentum and organisers are pleased with the number of applications and are confident they will get 200 applications this year, that being the biggest number for the award.

The four categories of the Women in Business awards are Business woman of the year, Executive Woman of the year, manager of the year, Aspiring Entrepreneur of the year and the Employer of the year.

Meanwhile, applications for the Women in Business awards 2017 close on the 21st of this month, while the Awards will be held on the 20th of May at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
