Vodafone Fijiana XVs coach Mosese Rauluni believes they missed a lot of opportunities against the Japan Women’s XVs side on Friday that proved too costly for them but they just got to be better as a team and rectify it for the second test match next week.
Rauluni says they made a few line breaks and overlaps but they made passes that were way a little bit over the head which was basic little mistakes.
When asked if the players were fatigued before the match, Rauluni says it was not fatigue but probably the way they prepared leading up to the game and some other stuff that he will talk to the players about behind closed doors.
Captain Merewai Cumu says the players put up a great fight against Japan but they just need to work on their discipline of how they approach the game.
The Fijiana will now head down to Churchill Park in Lautoka for their second test match against Japan at 6pm next Thursday.
